Vacation?

Can someone justify to me as to why the president can go on vacation for a month when our young men and women in the armed forces have to sweat day in and day out in Iraq. I request that as long as our troops can not take vacation, he should not be able to either. After all he sent them there and since he refuse to go, the president can show his support by at least not going on vacation.

I agree with you, but has the President ever "not" been on vacation? Let's see, he was on vacation all thru his school years, he was on vacation while running the Texas Rangers, he was on vacation during Katrina, (he was out with Condi buying shoes, I think the shoes were for Condi since that particular store didn't carry his size.)And oh yes, he's on vacation in the White House, so why should we expect anything different.

We are figthing a different kind of war now. A war on terror...with potentially no end. Considering the stress level associated with working as the President of the United States of America, he ( as do the soldiers) need a vacation.
